DaWanda Seller Interview 2009

So, now that I've set up my website as a blog I guess I should start getting a few posts up. I want to use this blog not just present my tees etc, but also to give a bit of a behind-the-scenes view. So here is a seller interview I did for DaWanda back in 2009, not too long after I started out. A few things have changed since then - I have my studio at home now, and I didn't make the move to Berlin (yet), and of course there has been the arrival of the 'wee' one since then, but more about that in a later post.

The first DaWanda Design Market in Berlin - I'll be there.

My entry, selected in the Translating Humboldt competition - yay!

I just found out that this design I entered for the Translating Humboldt competition got selected, which is very cool. It was a competition to design wallpaper for the Meininger hotel which is opening next month in Berlin Mitte, it was organised by DaWanda — the hotel is beside their headquarters and there will be a design from a different DaWanda seller in each room. The best bit is that they have organised a design market for the winning entrants next month and I'll get the room that my wallpaper is in to exhibit and sell my stuff, we can even stay in the hotel for free in the night of the market!

These are a few of the business cards that I just got in the post from moo.com, they came out very nicely - no more writing my website address on peoples hands - yo!
